Through the Allied Healthcare Professional course, you’ll have the option to work in a medical front office handling billing and coding, electronic health records, scheduling and assisting patients or in a pharmacy environment assisting pharmacists.

- Appreciate how the use of EHR, practice management & pharmacy systems affect patient safety and reimbursement

You’ll build a well-rounded resume of knowledge with expertise in the front office arenas of insurance billing, coding, electronic health records and the medication background of a pharmacy technician. The WA Board of Pharmacy has additional requirements if the student plans to permanently reside in Washington. If a student is living in WA short-term (less than 2 years) they can obtain a temporary license.
